I've actually just inherited a number of his pessesions much of which are papers and letters. I'm very interested in where you found the information you have and learning more. Sadly many of the letters and handwritten material I'm barely able to decipher. I'm currently reading the transcripts from his trail in the early 1900's related to his divorce and his time spent Please let me know if you are interested. I can be conntacte by email at demianwarner@gmail.com. I believe I sorted it out. He didn't die but for some reason, Jessie married Glee and lived happily thereafter with him. Everett appears to have moved to Texas and then married Velma Veece and lived to the age of Illinois and is buried with Velma in Wiliamson County (see Find a Grave #136275525). So to answer your questions: no, he did not die before 1920 and Glee did not married his widow but his brother's ex-wife. There are still lots of unanswered questions though about this line of the Newcombs. They had dancing dogs in the act. My records show he was born in Seville, Michicagn. Frank's children were Adeline, Grace, Rudy Mae,Clyde, and Clymina (Mina). Frank lived in Denver Michigan (1900), Isabella Michigan (1910), Washtenah County Michigan 1920. My Aunt remembers a large trunk with magic acts items (popping up top hat), dog costumes and flyers. My name is JoAnn Farrell. My husband received an item from his family after the death of an aunt. We were told where they thought it came from and the story behind it. I opened the back and read a note in it that leads me to believe it belongs to the family of Stanley Stowell Newcomb. I thought I would try to find children, grandchildren or a family member that might be interested in it. Our email is celtite@yahoo.com or you can message me on facebook, Sean Farrell. Sean and I live in Texas.
